About Us

I first became passionate about wine on a college trip to Bordeaux and Cognac in 1989. Since then I have added retail experience and production knowledge to that enthusiasm during a 12-year career which includes managing shops for Oddbins in Cambridge, London and Leicester, and numerous stints working on vineyards in Champagne, Alsace and the Languedoc, Southern France. Our aim for the shop has been to put together a range of interesting wines from smaller producers, wherever they happen to be, that aren't widely available elsewhere. In fact, several of the wines in our range are exclusive to Duncan Murray Wines. The shop also offers a range of specially selected lager, beer and spirits.

We now also import wines directly from the following producers: Domaine du Poujol (Languedoc), Salzmann-Thomann (Alsace) & H. Blin (Champagne).
